Blue Egg Gallery Bursary
Ceramics Ireland is delighted to invite applications for the 2022 Blue Egg Gallery Bursary. Applications are open to members of Ceramics Ireland and we invite you to send your applications before 9th July 2022. The award winner will be announced at the opening of our Open Submission Members Exhibition at The Printworks, Dublin Castle in July.
Purpose: To assist a potter/ceramic artist with the development of their practice by funding initiatives such as:

The purchase of equipment

Experimentation with new glazes

Attendance at courses & workshops to enhance their skills

Ceramics Ireland Award for Creativity in Craftsmanship
The Creativity in Craftsmanship Award is awarded annually at the Selected Members Exhibition. Award value is €500

Gallery Zozimus Award
The Gallery Zozimus Award is announced at the Selected Members Exhibition annually.

The Peter Brennan Pioneer Potter Award is awarded at the Selected Members Exhibition.

Professional Practice Award
Ceramics Ireland are delighted to invite applications for the Professional Practice Award 2022. Any person who is a current member of Ceramics Ireland may apply for the award. The Award covers courses, workshops, residencies, lectures and educational trips relevant to the field of ceramics that would assist in the development of your practice. Members who were awarded the travel bursary/ Professional Practice Award in the last 3 years are not eligible.
Award value: €500

SO Fine Art Award
Kecskemet, Hungary Residency
A biennial award of a residency at the International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemet. The month long residency is open to all current members of Ceramics Ireland and will be announced at the Ceramics Ireland International Festival, Thomastown 7th - 9th September 2018.

RDS Ceramics Ireland Award of Excellence
The RDS Craft Competition took place each year in August until 2017. The selection of artists was made by the RDS panel of selectors, through photograph and application form. Ceramics Ireland provided a €500 award at the competition for many years, this award was selected by the RDS ceramics selector without consultation with Ceramics Ireland.
